Budget Planner Main Menu

Subtitle: Left menu | User Interface
The left menu provides all functionalities you need to add, delete or edit your balance sheet.

Year: shows the annual date of your balance file. Just below you are able to select the month you want to display or edit.

Entry: provides the functionality to add, delete or edit the balance sheet.

Tools: starts a calculator if this has been installed on your operating system.

Current File: provides a button to save your changes.

MyMicroBalance: In this menu section you are able to exit MyMicroBalance. Your file will be saved automatically.

Calendar (one-time entry): Choose the calendar day to assign the respective receipts or expenditures.

Category: Here you can assign the entry to a new category, in order to be able then to check how high receipts or expenditures are in a particular group.

If you want to quickly set up a new group you can type it directly into the field "Category". Then you will be asked whether you would like to create this new category.

In Administration of Categories own categories can also be created as well as changed or deleted.

Regular Entries:

When you click on Tab "regular" you create a new interval entry, which will appear in your balance sheet at individually set intervals or on fixed dates.

Once having clicked on Interval you can decide at which intervals the present entry shall appear in your balance sheet. Additionally, choose the start and end date.

By choosing an individual date you can define the exact day on which the entry shall appear.

Please note: Changing a periodical entry will always have consequences for the entire balance. For instance, if you change the value of a periodical entry after a couple of months, the amounts of the previous months will be automatically changed as well. Thus, create a new periodical entry.

Additional columns:

In case you have added new columns in MyMicroBalance Column Property Management these will also be shown in the window for new entries. Defined standard values can be replaced by individual values at any time.
