Budget Planner MyMicroBalance Online Help

VIP Charts let you analyze your receipts, expenditures, balances, and categories graphically. A month-end balance shows the current result, but charts make it easier to see where money was spent and how individual months differ.

The chart features are available with a VIP license key. They are especially useful for recognizing trends, major areas of expenditure, and differences between months at a glance.

Open VIP Charts

1. Open your MyMicroBalance file.
2. Open Annual Overview or the graphical analyses.
3. Open VIP Chart.
4. Select the values and period that you want to analyze.

Values that can be analyzed

• Receipts: shows how your receipts develop during the selected period.
• Expenditures: shows the months or categories in which particularly high costs occurred.
• Balance and carryover: shows whether money remains at the end of the month and how the previous month affects the current month.
• Categories: compares categories such as Groceries, Housing, Car, or Leisure.

Adjust the display and comparison

You can adjust the chart display, including the chart type, values, axes, legend, background, and comparison period. This lets you compare receipts and expenditures from different months.

When you analyze a category, you can quickly see which category contributes most strongly to the result. This is useful when you want to reduce expenditures or plan budgets more precisely.

Analysis tips

• Compare similar periods, such as two months or two years.
• Review unusual values in the categories before making a decision based on a chart.
• Use the category view to identify which expenditures affect the balance most strongly.
