VIP Inline Edit

Subtitle: Edit Values Directly | Save Time

VIP Inline Edit lets you edit certain values directly in the Balance view without opening the complete entry window each time. This saves time when you need to correct or rename several entries one after another.

This feature is available with a VIP license key.

Edit a value directly in the table

  1. Open the Balance view.
  2. Click the cell that you want to edit in the relevant row.
  3. Change the value directly in the table.
  4. Confirm the change and save your file.

Suitable fields

Inline Edit is particularly useful for quick corrections to the name, amount, or category. To review additional details such as the date, comment, reference, interval, or recurring entry settings, open the entry with Edit Entry.

Tips for safe editing

  • After several inline changes, briefly check the balance.
  • Save manually after making major corrections.
  • Use the complete entry window when an entry contains several related fields.
